Next week, ePlay will be attending CES to demonstrate the latest version of its Augmented Reality (AR) mobile game Big Shot. The company is gearing up for its official United States launch, an updated version of app, and special meetings at this year's CES event. Lindsay McCormick, sports broadcaster, host of Entrepreneur Magazine's "Elevator Pitch" TV series, and strategic advisor to ePlay Digital will be attending the event with ePlay.
Announcements about the most recent must-have updates for highly rated AR Apple iPhone app, Big Shot Basketball, will be made at CES. Big Shot is rated 4.4 out of 5 on Apple App Store and the mobile game is just getting better with every update. Look for announcements about new features during CES next week.
ePlay's CEO, Trevor Doerksen and advisor Lindsay McCormick will be meeting with the new Consul General of Canada in Los Angeles, actor Ziab Shaikh, at the CES event as part of planning for the Big Shot launch. A 4-part event including red carpet, streetball tourney, esports tourney, franchise announcements, and exhibitors is being set in Los Angeles and other cities.
While the focus of the CES event is Big Shot and upcoming marketing events, ePlay subsidiary Mobovivo is also meeting with clients and potential business clients from U.S., Canada, China, and elsewhere to discuss the companies esports and augmented reality platform. In addition, another new direct to consumer app was recently approved by Apple and awaits release, marketing, and launch. Video, pictures, advertising, and other content are currently being curated for the new app along with its marketing launch.
From a development point of view the company has started development of its special new game-mode for Big Shot. Players will be able to compete head-to-head during a live last-player standing scavenger basketball game based on live NBA matches and statistics.
